Field trip to pemayangtse monastery and sky walk pelling

 PEMAYANGTSE MONASTERY 

Foundation 1705 , Location about 2km from pelling and 110 km from the capital city Gangtok plenty of taxi services are available to reach these place. 

Pemayangtse monastery is situated at scenic hilltop pelling surrounded by beautiful trees , peaceful environment.witness the mesmerizing view of Himalayas from that place while meditating or relaxing at this monastery. These Monastery Tibetan architecture shows the history and culture of Buddhism. The monastery is full with statues of saints and Rinpoche Se, including padmasambhava it also have old tradition clothes of Buddhism some scriptures and antiques of idols. Whole wall are painted and decorated in traditional Tibetan design. At the top of monastery there is one room which is called as hell and heaven where we can see that how people of heaven live and how people of hell live . But inside the monastery photos clicking are prohibited. 

Best time to visit pemayangtse monastery is from March to June .

SKYWALK PELLING CHEREN ZIG 

Location : sky walk pelling is located at upper pelling of Sikkim .the Chenrezig statue and skywalk are a tourist attraction in Pelling, West Sikkim. The glass bridge is almost at the height of 100 feet floored with transparent thick glass . People reach out this place to walk in glass bridge, for praying and to enjoy the scenary of environment. The staircase is encircled around multi headed Buddha statue which gives an ultimate view of Buddha from all the direction . But visitors are requested not to take any photography inside the monastery to respect the divinity of these place .

These place is very popular for tourists it is crowded everytime .and it is best for sightseeing.

THINGS TO REMEMBER WHILE GOING THERE 

• The ticket fees is Rs 100 inr for each 

• Remove shoes before entering the main permises .

• photography and videography are not allowed inside monastery.

• No smoking , chewing and spitting.
